Samsung Galaxy Folder gets a New Name; Galaxy Golden

The Galaxy Folder has got a new name called Galaxy Golden. We brought the news that Samsung is working on a flip smartphone and its nearly confirmed that it will be a coming your way in some time as we are getting more leaks on the Samsung’s made Galaxy Golden aka Galaxy Folder

We haven’t seen a folder phone for quite some time it’s because after the introduction of touchscreen smartphones these kinds of devices just vanished from the scenario. And now you won’t find such devices. But Samsung is going to make a flip smartphone for you, if you’re a flip phone lover.

Galaxy Golden will have dual screens

The Galaxy Golden will run on Android and will have a touchscreen as well as a keyboard. And that’s not all it will be featuring dual screens meaning that the upcoming folder smartphone, the Galaxy Golden will have a secondary screen on the front if you flip the phone to close. That secondary screen will show the notifications without opening the yet to come clamshell flip smartphone, the Galaxy Golden.

Specs for Galaxy Golden

Samsung Galaxy Golden is rumored to have a Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz with support of 2GB of RAM. The Galaxy Folder will be running Android 4.1.2 JellyBean OS and will be having a AMOLED display with screen size of 3.67. The upcoming flip smartphone the Galaxy Golden is going to be compatible with LTE connectivity. Other specs are NFC, GPS, FM radio, and yes WIFI.


The device is expected to land in Korean market first, and that will be this month. KT SKT will be launching it in the Korea. China Mobile is also likely to be the carrier that is going to bring to the chinese people. Only time will tell what other market is going to be the targeted by Samsung to launch its Galaxy Golden aka Folder.
